I am a PhD student in the EdinburghNLP group of the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. My supervisor is Shay Cohen and I am a member of the cohort group. I work in the SUMMA (Scalable Understanding of Multilingual MediA) project.
My research interests revolve around Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. I am especially interested in natural language understanding and tasks pertaining to it, such as semantic parsing and information extraction.
Prior to moving to the UK, I was working as a developer/research assosiate for the Institute for Language and Speech Processing, RC "Athena" and prior to that I was a student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA.
I am also an aspiring musician and I am very curious about computational musicology as well.
